I have struggled with loving my body my entire life.

I am a Texas girl, born and raised (Keep Austin Weird)!

I grew up in a family that didn’t understand the importance that nutrition has on our bodies, and that found a box of Mac n’ Cheese a completely acceptable nightly dinner for me growing up. Hating the body that my childhood had created, I was plagued for years with eating disorders, and by the time I graduated college I was in an unhealthy state of starving myself and overexersizing…as most women are.

I WOULD BINGE FROM SELF HATRED, AND PURGE OUT OF SHAME.

My journey with fitness and nutrition began when I hit rock bottom and hired my very first coach. I was desperate to lose weight and love my body for the first time in my life. She introduced me to weight training, counting my macros, and living the “flexible diet” lifestyle and I fell in love with the massive changes that I began to experience both inside and out.

I envisioned myself giving a sense of freedom to others who felt as desperate as I had.

In 2013, I became certified in Fitness Nutrition because I envisioned myself giving a sense of freedom to others who felt as desperate as I had. Who knew that you could actually create the body you’ve always dreamed of by simply EATING MORE, and fueling yourself properly? And how have so many of us been programmed to believe the answer to our problems is to “eat less and do more!?” I have always known it was my duty to educate and lead this movement, to create the change in the world that I once needed so desperately for myself. I am here to create an army of badass, strong and confident women who DO NOT live in fear of food any longer.
